What i love most about this book is the way it shows graphic design to be new, exciting and cutting edge. it shows very new applications of design concept, instead of just layouts, brochures, etc. For example there are pages devoted to possible grid systems, colour pallettes, typeface combinations and options amongst many other items. At the beginning of the book there is also a very good grounding into page layout and good composition that would be very nice.
It's covered very detail, providing easy understanding descriptions of the various technical tools and ideas involved in design for color, print, packaging and signage. Using colorful and clear diagram make this book very interesting and good understanding.
